on Rt 9W (Southern Blvd), right on Delaware Ave, left on Whitehall
Rd (at the stop light), then right on Fullerton St. The pool
entrance and Albany Academy is at the end of Fullerton St (across
Hackett Blvd). The pool is located in the building next to the
sports complex (on the 2nd floor).

any pool listed. Travel times are estimated from the Four Corners
in Delmar.
Albany Academy, Albany,
NY
Travel time: 15 minutes
Take Delaware Avenue into Albany. Turn left
at the traffic light at Coulson’s, onto Whitehall Road. Turn
right at the next traffic light onto Marwill Street. Take Marwill
Street to the next traffic light, at Hackett Boulevard. Turn left
onto Hackett. Turn right into the first driveway off Hackett. The
pool is in the new building between the black-and-white Field House
and the brick academic building.
Albany High School,
Albany, NY
Travel time: 15 minutes
Take New Scotland Avenue, and turn left
onto S. Manning Boulevard. From Manning, turn right onto Washington
Avenue. The school is at 700 Washington Avenue and will be on your
right. Drive past the school and into the parking lot. From the
parking lot, you will see windows looking into the
pool.
Amsterdam Middle School,
Amsterdam, NY
Travel time: 50 minutes
Take NYS Thruway west to Amsterdam, Exit
27. On exiting the tollbooths, follow Route 30 north across the
Mohawk River and into the city of Amsterdam. Follow Route 30 up the
hill and watch for Bunn Street on the left. There is a
Stewart’s on the corner. Turn left at Stewart’s and
continue straight on this street for about 5 blocks. The street
eventually runs into the school complex, where there is a large
sign. The pool is on the left inside the main entrance of the new
building.
Ballston Spa High School

Take Interstate Route 87 (Adirondack
Northway) to Exit 12. Follow Route 67 West several miles
to the intersection with NYS Route 50. Proceed across the
intersection onto Ballston Avenue. Ballston Spa High School is on
Ballston Avenue on the left, just past the intersection. Follow the
signs to the pool.
Bethlehem Central High School, Delmar,
NY
From Interstate Route 87, take Exit 23.
Take the first right after the toll booth, and then take a right at
the sign indicating 9W and Route 32. After about a mile, bear right
on Route 32 South. Go about four miles. You will encounter several
stoplights along Route 32. Continue going straight until you cannot
go any farther (Route 32 becomes the Route 32 bypass). Turn right
onto Van Dyke Road and proceed to the traffic light. Bethlehem
Central High School is on the right.
Canajoharie Nellis
Memorial Pool
East Hill School, Canajoharie,
NY
Travel time: 1 hour, 15 minutes
Take NYS Thruway west to Canajoharie Exit
29. The school is up on the hill in the southeast end of town and
is visible from the Thruway. From the exit, turn right on East Main
Street, Route 5S,
and go about one-quarter mile to Church Street. Turn left on Church
and then left again onto Maple Avenue. Take the third left onto
Abeling Street. The school is off School District Road, at the end
of Abeling Street. Parking is available in the school
lot.
Colgate University,
Hamilton, NY

time: 2 hours, 30 minutes
Take NYS Thruway west to Utica, Exit 31.
Follow I-790/NY12 south to Sangerfield, about 18 miles. Turn west
on US 20, continue about 12 miles to junction of NY Route 12B. Or
take US 20 west from Albany to its junction with NY Route 12B.
Follow 12B south through the village of Hamilton. Colgate
University is on the south side of the village. The pool building
is at the south end of the campus, directly on 12B, on the
left/east side of 12B, adjacent to the ski slope. Parking is
available in the lot across the street from the pool.
College of St. Rose,
Albany, NY

time: 20 minutes
From Delmar, take Delaware Avenue into
Albany. Turn left onto Whitehall Road, right on Marwill Street,
left on Hackett Boulevard, right on South Main. Continue on Main
Avenue to Western Avenue. The pool is located in the Activities
Center, on the south side of Western Avenue between North Main
Avenue and Partridge Street. Parking is available on the street
either on Western or Madison, which is parallel, south of
Western.
Elm Avenue Town Park
Pool, Delmar, NY
From Interstate Route 87, take Exit 23.
Take the first right after the toll booth, and then take a right at
the sign indicating 9W and Route 32. After about a mile, bear right
on Route 32 South. Go about four miles and turn left when Route 32
South goes left at a light at Elm Avenue. Go about one-quarter
mile; the Elm Avenue park is on the right.
Emma Willard School,
Troy, NY
Start out going to RPI then continue on
15th street past the RPI pool until it ends. Go left on Rt.
2, stay right onto Rt. 66 (Pawling Ave). Take a left onto
Elmgrove (across from the funeral home and turn right onto the
campus. Drive about 3/4 aroundthe traffic circle then turn
right. Follow the road to the parking lot behind the building
that is on your right. The pool is in that building (Mott
Center).
Glens Falls High School,
Glens Falls, NY
Travel
time: 1 hour, 15 minutes
From Delmar, take the Northway north to
Exit 18. Turn right at the exit onto Main Street. Follow Main into
the city of Glens Falls, where the name changes to Broad Street.
Turn left at the traffic light at LaRose Street. Follow LaRose to
Sherman Avenue. The high school is a yellow brick building on the
left side of Sherman. Parking is available in the school
lot.
Gloversville Middle
School, Gloversville, NY
Travel time: 1 hour, 15 minutes
Take NYS Thruway west to Amsterdam, Exit
27. On exiting the tollbooths, follow Route 30 North all the way
through Amsterdam about 9 miles to Route 29. Take Route 29 West 1.2
miles to Route 29A West (right turn at White Holland House
Restaurant). Travel about 6.8 miles straight through the city of
Gloversville. Route 29 bears to the right. Travel about a half
mile. On the right-hand side of the road, you will see an old
Supreme gas station sign. There is a road just past this with signs
marking the school entrance. Turn right up the hill. The school is
at the top of the hill. Enter the first parking lot. It should take
15 minutes from the time you turn on Route 29A West.
Kingston High School,
Kingston, NY
Travel time: 1 hour, 20 minutes
Take NYS Thruway south to Kingston, Exit
19. Enter the traffic circle and follow the signs for I-587 into
downtown Kingston. Exit on Broadway, Route 32 South. Take Broadway
past the railroad underpass and watch for the high school on the
right, about 3 blocks after the underpass. The pool is in the
athletic building on the southeast side of the school complex.
Parking is available in the school lots.
Mohonasen Senior High
School, Schenectady, NY
Travel time: 45 minutes
Take NYS Thruway to Exit 25. Take the first
exit after the toll booth (Exit 9) off I890. Take a right at the
top of the ramp onto Curry Road, Route 7 West. Continue until you
reach the third traffic signal, then turn left onto
Mohonasen’s driveway. Mohonasen High School, at 2072 Curry
Road, is the second building in, at the end of the driveway. Draper
Middle School is the two-story building to the right.
New Hartford High School,
New Hartford, NY
Travel time: 2 hours
Take NYS Thruway west to Utica, Exit 31.
Follow the signs for Genesee St. South. Take Genesee through Utica
to the village of New Hartford. Watch for the underpass. Go left on
Oxford Road, first left after the underpass. Turn left at the first
light onto Oxford Road into the school parking lot.
Niskayuna High School,
Niskayuna, NY
Travel time: 35 minutes
Take Exit 25 (Schenectady) from I-90 (NYS
Thruway). Continue on 890 West, approximately 2 miles. Take Exit 7
for Route 7 East (toward Troy). Approximately 2 miles farther, turn
left onto Route 146 (Route 146 is also called Balltown Road at this
intersection). About 1.5 miles farther, Niskayuna High School is on
the right. The entrance is at a traffic light.
RPI, Robison Pool, Troy,
NY
Travel time: 35 minutes
From Delmar take 787 northbound to the exit
for Route 7/Collar City Bridge. Follow Hoosick Street up the hill
and turn right on 15th Street, after the Troy Plaza Shopping
Center. Follow 15th Street; watch for the Troy Armory. The pool is
adjacent to the Armory. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to
the Armory or on the street.

Shaker High School,
Latham, NY
Travel time: 30 minutes
Take the Northway north to Exit 5 (Route
155). Take 155 east, crossing Route 9. Continue east on 155
approximately three-quarters of a mile past Route 9. Shaker High
School will be on the left. The first school building on the left
is the junior high school. The pool is located in the second
building, the senior high school. It is the first left after the
junior high. Parking is available in the school lot.
Siena College,
Loudonville, NY

time: 30 minutes
Take the Northway north to Exit 5 (Route
155). Go left on Route 155 and follow it east to its junction with
Route 9. Turn right on Route 9 and follow it south about a mile.
Pass the college on your left and turn left at the traffic light,
at the junction of Spring Street Road. Take the fourth left off
Spring Street Road for the Alumni Recreation Center. As you enter
the “ARC,” the pool is on the left off the main lobby.
Parking is available in the ARC lot.
Skidmore College,
Saratoga Springs, NY

Exit off of I-87 at exit 15. At the end of
the exit ramp, take a left heading toward Saratoga Springs. You
will travel through three traffic lights and at your fourth traffic
light, take a right onto East Avenue. At the first stop sig,n you
should be at North Broadway; take a right. Travel approximately
1⁄4 mile and take a left into the Skidmore campus. Travel to
the end of that road and then take a left and follow the road
around the bend and the Athletic Center is the first building on
the left-hand side.
SUNY New Paltz, New
Paltz, NY
Travel
time: 1 hour, 30 minutes
Take NYS Thruway to Exit 18. Turn left at
Thruway light and make the next left onto South Putt Corners Road
(at the Super 8 Motel). You will pass the high school on the left.
Take South Putt to the end and turn right onto Route 32. Travel
approximately 1 mile. The college will be on the left. Follow signs
to the gymnasium (Elting Gym).
Troy High School, Troy,
NY
Travel
time: 35 minutes
From Delmar, follow 787 northbound to the
exit for Route 7 east, Collar City Bridge. Follow Hoosick Street up
the hill about three-quarters of a mile. Turn right on Burdett
Avenue. Go past Samaritan Hospital on the right and the road that
leads up the hill to the RPI Field House on the left. Troy High
will be on the left. The high school is an older, yellow brick
building. Parking is available in the lot.
Ulster County Pool, New
Paltz, NY
Travel
time: 1 hour, 45 minutes
From Delmar, take NYS Thruway south to New
Paltz Exit 18. From the tollbooth, turn left and follow Route 299
west through the village of New Paltz. Cross the bridge outside of
town. The pool is adjacent to the fairgrounds. After crossing the
bridge, take the first left, County Route 7, Libertyville Road. The
pool is 1.7 miles from the junction of 299 and 7 on the left.
Parking is available in the lot.
Union College Pool,
Schenectady, NY
Travel time: 45 minutes
From Delmar, take Thruway west to Exit 25.
Take I-890, the Crosstown Arterial, to Exit 5, Broadway. Turn right
off the exit and follow the maroon signs for the Urban Cultural
Park. The park is on Nott Terrace. Pass the park and continue on
Nott Terrace to Union Street. Turn right at the light at the
intersection of Nott Terrace and Union Street. Do not enter Union
College at the Payne Gate across from St. John’s Church. Bear
left at the next traffic light where Union Street joins Union
Avenue. Take Union Avenue about one-quarter mile and watch for the
entrance to the Athletic Complex on the left. Enter the campus
here. The pool is located in Alumni Gym, behind the bleachers for
the football field. The pool entrance is at ground level on the
side of the gym closer to the field house. Park across the street
from the gym or in the lot across from the field house and Achilles
hockey rink.
The University at Albany,
Albany, NY
Travel time: 20 minutes
From Delmar, take Route 85 north to the
Western Avenue/Route 20 exit. Turn left on Tampa Avenue and proceed
to Western Avenue. Turn left onto Western. Follow Western about 1.5
miles and watch for the university signs on the right. Turn right
into the university and then bear left on the Loop Road and go
about one-quarter mile. The Athletics Complex will be on the right.
Park in an Athletics parking area. The pool is located in the
gymnasium building, north of, and adjacent to, the newer Recreation
and Conference Center.
U.S. Military Academy,
West Point, NY
Travel
time: 2 hours, 15 minutes
Take Thruway south to Newburgh. Take I-84
East to Route 9W. Take 9W South through Newburgh and over Storm
King Mountain to Central Valley, about 12 miles. Take Route 218
toward West Point. You will pass the Golf Course and Ski Slope.
Enter at Washington Gate. Pass the hospital, elementary school, and
cemetery on the left. The pool is in the Arvin Gymnasium, located
between Washington Road and Mills Road.
Voorheesville High
School, Voorheesville, NY
Travel time: 20 minutes
Take Kenwood Avenue west to New Scotland
Road/Route 85. Follow 85 to the junction of 85A. Turn right and go
into the village of Voorheesville. Stay on 85A as it goes past the
Voorheesville Elementary School and up the hill out of town. The
high school is on 85A on the right just after you pass the Albany
County Cooperative Extension. Parking is available in the school
lot.
